Abstract

The SCRUM methodology, renowned for its flexibility and adaptability in managing complex projects, has become a popular agile framework in project management. Despite its widespread adoption, project managers often face challenges in implementing SCRUM effectively, leading to project failures. This research project addresses this issue by evaluating the effectiveness of SCRUM in web development projects and identifying new best practices to enhance successful implementation. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, incorporating both quantitative and qualitative research methods, this study employs surveys and statistical analyses alongside interviews and case studies of experienced project managers utilizing the SCRUM methodology. Through these methods, the project aims to comprehensively assess the advantages and disadvantages of SCRUM in project management and its impact on project managers and web development projects. The outcomes of this research project will provide practical recommendations for project managers, enabling them to improve the effectiveness of the SCRUM methodology and efficiently manage projects. The proposed best practices aim to address identified disadvantages, enhance project quality, boost productivity, and reduce project costs. This study holds particular significance for organizations seeking to adopt SCRUM in their project management practices, offering insights to optimize its implementation and ensuring successful project outcomes.
