Abstract
- This article discusses the repair of a large multi-subunit nasal defect in a 68-year-old man who had a basal cell carcinoma on his right nasal tip. The tumor was removed through Mohs micrographic surgery, resulting in a complex composite defect involving the tip, supratip subunit, right nasal sidewall, and ala. The authors describe the use of various techniques, including perialar crescentic advancement flap, Burrow's graft, and interpolated paramedian forehead flap, to reconstruct the defect. The surgical method involved marking the anatomical nasal subunits, elevating and advancing flaps, and meticulous suturing. The outcome was a restoration of normal symmetry and contour with minimal color mismatch. [Extracted from the article]
