Abstract
- The article presents a case study of a 56-year-old Black woman with multiple pigmented lesions in her oral mucosa, ultimately diagnosed with Laugier–Hunziker syndrome (LHS). Topics discussed include the clinical presentation of LHS, differential diagnosis ruling out conditions like Addison disease and Peutz–Jeghers syndrome, and the management and follow-up of the patient's condition, which does not pose a risk of malignant transformation.
