Critical Challenges, Cooperative Solutions: Sustainable Intensification of Agriculture With the USDA Long‐Term Agroecosystem Research Network.

Agriculture in the United States faces significant challenges, including food insecurity, climate change, environmental degradation, and rural prosperity issues. The USDA Long‐Term Agroecosystem Research (LTAR) Network, which comprises 18 national sites, aims to address these challenges through sustainable intensification. Each site conducts a "Common Experiment" to compare traditional management practices with new alternative strategies.
