HIV Prevention in Foster Care Youths: Time for a Refocus.

The authors call on researchers, public health professionals, medical providers, and policymakers to address the access of foster care youth to preexposure prophylaxis (PrEP) from a number of appropriate dimensions. Topics include independent yet interconnected dimensions of access suggested by R. Penchansky and J. W. Thomas, dimensions of preexposure prophylaxis access, and prioritizing HIV prevention strategies for foster youths.
