Abstract
- This article provides information on two different recordings by pianists. The first recording is of Mischa Levitzki's complete HMV recordings from 1927-33, which features a collection of works by various composers that respond to Robert Schumann's music. Levitzki's interpretation of Schumann's music is highly praised. The second recording is a piano album by Marija Jankova Noller, a Bulgarian pianist, which features short works by various composers organized around the theme of "Landscapes in Sound." The reviewer highlights Noller's ability to showcase different piano styles and praises her performances of Haydn, Beethoven, Chopin, and Janáček. [Extracted from the article]
