Abstract

This article discusses a lesson design that aims to make the topic of motion with uniform acceleration more engaging and interesting for students. The lesson focuses on exploring free-fall motion and incorporates a colorful experiment using a device called the blinker timer. The blinker timer is a self-illuminated LED that falls with uniform acceleration, allowing students to observe and analyze its motion. The lesson also introduces creative data processing techniques, such as copying and pasting displacement segments, to analyze the motion. The article acknowledges the limitations of the lesson design and discusses improvements made to the blinker timer device. Overall, the lesson design aims to enhance student engagement and understanding of free-fall motion. [Extracted from the article]
