Evaluación del desarrollo de la comunidad de Yajalón, Chiapas, desde una perspectiva sustentable.

The development of the community of Yajalón, Chiapas, is evaluated between two possible orientations, either towards an non-sustainable development model, or towards a sustainable one that balances human wellbeing and social benefit with the use of resources and productive practices committed to environmental protection that preserves resources for future generations. The evaluation considered the use of indicators and hierarchical levels, applying the General Sustainability Index to obtain the results, which indicate that the IGS of the community is oriented towards unsustainable development at a unstable level, concluding that the system does not have the opportunity to recover and even less to preserve it for the future.
