Abstract

The development of professional skills is a constant in education, schools, colleges and universities constantly seek the development of learning methodologies to obtain better results in the teaching process, however, the socioeconomic conditions of the students have an influence on the success or failure, access to technology and educational resources is critical in the digital age. The lack of adequate access to the internet and technological devices limits opportunities for learning and academic participation, negatively affecting performance. Additionally, household stability and food security are essential to students' well-being and academic success. Leveling students at the Technical University of Quevedo (UTEQ) are affected by the socioeconomic conditions of their environment, family income, parents' educational level, access to educational and technological resources, family environment, among others.
