Abstract
- In a single center study, 15 patients between the ages of 12 and 28 were described as exhibiting lack of efficacy during treatment for anaplastic large cell lymphoma expressing the anaplastic lymphoma kinase mutation. The patients were initially treated with various drugs including prednisone, vincristine, daunorubicin, asparaginase, cyclophosphamide, cytarabine, mercaptopurine, methotrexate, and vinblastine. Some patients also received additional treatments such as ifosfamide, carboplatin, etoposide, brentuximab-vedotin, crizotinib, vinorelbine, gemcitabine, procarbazine, prednisolone, dexamethasone, cisplatin, or oxaliplatin. Despite undergoing additional therapies and procedures, the patients' disease did not respond to treatment. [Extracted from the article]
