Abstract
- The article focuses on questioning the necessity of stone analysis and 24-hour urine testing in managing renal stone disease. Topics include the limitations of 24-hour urine analysis, such as variability in results and patient inconvenience, the challenges of conducting reliable stone composition analysis, and the argument for using empiric treatment over routine testing for most kidney stone patients.
