Abstract

A case report published in Reactions Weekly describes a woman in her 50s who exhibited lack of efficacy during treatment for autoimmune connective tissue disorder and hypophosphataemia. The woman received prednisolone and hydroxychloroquine, but no improvement was noted and the medications were tapered off. She also received alfacalcidol for hypophosphataemia, but it was eventually switched with calcitriol due to lack of efficacy. After undergoing surgery and treatment, the woman showed signs of recovery and improvement in her condition. [Extracted from the article]
