This research paper seeks to contribute to the investigation of the conceptual changes that took place in communication studies in Argentina between 1970 and 1990, based on the survey of the writings of three authors linked – more or less formally – to this field of study during that period: Margarita Graziano, Alcira Argumedo and Beatriz Sarlo. The two questions that guided the research were: Did conceptual changes occur in the intellectual productions of these three authors between 1970 and 1990?
