Abstract

This article compares the performance of two ultrasound models, the ADNEX test and the Simple Rules (SR) test, in differentiating between benign and malignant adnexal masses. The meta-analysis included 26 articles and a total of 9,058 adnexal masses. The results showed that ADNEX had a sensitivity of 91.3% and a specificity of 84.1%, while SR had a sensitivity of 86.3% and a specificity of 90.5%. The study concluded that clinicians should consider these differences when choosing the most appropriate approach for diagnosing and managing adnexal masses. [Extracted from the article]
