Abstract
- This article discusses a retrospective study conducted in a fetal care center in South India from 2012 to 2023. The study aimed to assess the detection of chromosomal anomalies by combining the quadruple marker test with the anomaly scan in the second trimester for soft markers and fetal defects. The results showed that combining these two tests improved the detection rate of chromosomal anomalies. The study suggests that invasive testing should be offered if there are fetal defects and/or markers, regardless of the risk category. [Extracted from the article]
