Abstract

This article, titled "Fetal safety of prophylactic electromagnetic field administration for fetal growth restriction prevention: an experimental study on pregnant rats," explores the effects of pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) and radiofrequency electromagnetic field (RF-EMF) treatments on fetal growth restriction in pregnant rats. The study found that the administration of EMF during pregnancy did not appear to be significantly teratogenic and was relatively safe for the fetus. However, there were some observations of intracranial hemorrhage foci in fetuses exposed to combined treatment, suggesting a need for further investigation into the potential adverse effects on the fetal brain.
