Synthesis of Acetaminophen Under Microwave Irradiation in the Presence of H-Clinoptilolite.

The reaction of p-aminophenol with acetic anhydride under microwave irradiation in the presence of H-clinoptilolite was studied to continue the search for effective, economically favorable, and environmentally friendly methods for synthesizing acetaminophen (paracetamol).
