Abstract

This document provides two weather images and accompanying descriptions. The first image shows Hurricane Beryl passing over the Windward Islands as a Category 4 storm and reaching Category 5 intensity the following night. It then weakened over the Yucatán Peninsula before re-intensifying over the Gulf of Mexico and making landfall in Texas as a Category 1 storm. The second image shows a smoke plume from Mount Etna drifting eastwards from Sicily across the Ionian Sea. The images were captured by various satellites and are provided by NASA Worldview.
