Abstract

The goal of this work is improvement of output power of three phase rectifier using the novel space vector PWM technique compared with conventional PWM technique by reducing the harmonics. In total 14 samples of output power were taken which are collected from varying voltage. To assess the output power enhancement of the three-phase rectifier with unique space vector PWM approach and standard PWM technique, these samples are sorted into two groups, each having seven samples. G power is assumed to be 0.8. This paper shows that the standard PWM technique has harmonics of 52.59% whereas the unique space vector PWM technique has harmonics of 27.47%. The statistically significant result obtained is 0.000 (p<0.05), which is significant. According to this research, the unique space vector PWM technique greatly outperformed the traditional PWM technique in improving the output power of the three-phase rectifier by lowering harmonics in sustainable power electronics.
