Exclusive Papers by the Editorial Board Members and Topical Advisory Panel Members of Catalysts in the "Photocatalysis" Section.

This document is a summary of a special issue of the journal Catalysts, which focuses on recent advances in the field of photocatalysis. The issue includes seven exclusive papers written by members of the editorial board and topical advisory panel. The papers cover a range of topics, including the use of gadolinium-doped bismuth ferrite for the photocatalytic oxidation of arsenite, the effect of heterovalent doping on the photoelectrochemical behavior of anatase TiO2, the synthesis of novel ternary composites for photocatalytic degradation, the preparation of metallic MoS2/WS2 dual co-catalysts for hydrogen production, the development of a photocatalyst for removing bisphenol A from water, the synthesis of Au/TiO2/WO3 heterostructures for photodegradation and dye sensing, and the design of furane-based photoinitiators for polymerization. The authors conclude that there is still much research to be done in the field of photocatalysis, particularly in terms of the type of light irradiation, substrate immobilization, and the search for new photocatalysts.
