Abstract

This article discusses the chemical composition of isoflavonoids found in the roots of Ononis pusilla, a plant cultivated in Ukraine. The roots of O. pusilla are used for various medicinal purposes, including as a hemostatic and sedative. The researchers isolated and identified nine compounds, seven of which were previously unknown. The findings suggest that O. pusilla could be a valuable source of raw material for producing a preparation called Flavanobol. [Extracted from the article]
