Abstract

This document is a response to a letter regarding an article titled "Outpatient Worsening Among Patients With Mildly Reduced and Preserved Ejection Fraction Heart Failure in the DELIVER Trial." The authors appreciate the comment and interest from Dr. Wang and agree that further evaluation of the effect of outpatient oral diuretic intensification by background clinical risk is important. The study evaluated the treatment effects of dapagliflozin versus placebo on outpatient diuretic intensification and the expanded composite outcome. The results suggest a consistent reduction in outpatient diuretic requirement, regardless of background clinical risk. [Extracted from the article]
