Abstract
- A 34-year-old man developed central serous chorioretinopathy (CSCR) while being treated with prednisolone for type 1 lepra reaction. The man had leprosy and was on multidrug therapy for 3 months before starting prednisolone. An ocular examination revealed visual impairments in both eyes, and further tests confirmed CSCR. The patient stopped taking prednisolone and continued with multidrug therapy, and his vision improved after treatment with clofazimine. At his final follow-up visit, his vision had fully recovered.
