The article "Lessons from the processes in Coahuila and the State of Mexico in 2023" analyzes the local elections in Coahuila and the State of Mexico, highlighting the capacity of the INE and the TEPJF to organize and resolve conflicts in a context of high polarization. The importance of studying the internal logics of local electoral processes and the clientelistic cooptation of the PRI in the State of Mexico is emphasized.
