Abstract
- This article discusses a case of laparoscopic assisted dissection for a large trans-obturator tumor. The procedure was performed on a 38-year-old male patient with a solid mass located in the right pelvic space. The tumor was carefully dissected to preserve important structures such as the ureter, iliac vessels, obturator nerve, and spermatic cord. The surgery was successful, and the patient had an uneventful postoperative course. The authors suggest that laparoscopic assisted dissection can be performed safely by experienced surgeons, and for large tumors, a combination of laparoscopic and open approaches may be recommended.
