Abstract

This study will analyze and contrast the findings of existing Public-private partnerships (PPP) research to investigate the current norms and trends, and gaps in research for PPP construction projects in order to provide insights for directing future PPP research and improving existing PPP project practices. PPP research's very diverse. The research gaps and research directions can inspire scholars and practitioners to focus on the next generation of PPP studies to help with infrastructure development. by reviewing the literature. The research article provides an extensive PPP literature study related to trends for the period of (2018-2021), 80 articles from 8 high-ranked journals have been used, As a result, The PPP infrastructure projects-aligned research subjects were distilled into six broad categories. This field of research covers different topics across the construction sector of financing, risks and risk sharing, conflict, governance, relations between stakeholders, and value for money. The results of this study have offered a comprehensive summary of the PPP studies, The review that was carried out for this paper includes common study subjects in the area of public-private partnerships (PPP).
