Abstract

This study focusses on the synthesis of double perovskite oxides ANdFeTiO6 (A = Sr, Ba) utilizing solid–state reaction method. X–Ray diffraction analysis revealed orthorhombic symmetry in SrNdFeTiO6 and cubic symmetry in BaNdFeTiO6 compounds. Dielectric investigations unveiled dispersion pattern and relaxation phenomena in both the samples, with BaNdFeTiO6 demonstrating superior characteristics. Impedance spectra exhibited a negative temperature coefficient of resistance (NTCR) behavior in both the samples. Magnetic analysis demonstrated weak ferromagnetic behavior in both SrNdFeTiO6 and BaNdFeTiO6. Substituting Sr atoms with Ba atoms resulted in an enhancement of magnetic moment in SrNdFeTiO6.
