Abstract

This article discusses a case of recalcitrant erosive palms and soles eccrine syringofibroadenoma successfully treated with radiotherapy. The patient, a 73-year-old White woman, had nonhealing lesions on her palms and soles for the past 3 years. Despite initial misdiagnosis and unsuccessful treatments, radiotherapy was initiated and resulted in gradual improvement and re-epithelialization of the lesions. Eccrine syringofibroadenoma is a rare and benign skin adnexal tumor that typically affects the extremities, and alternative treatments for refractory cases include surgery, radiotherapy, and other therapies.
