Abstract

This article presents two case reports of patients experiencing toxicities while being treated with Acalabrutinib and Ibrutinib for different types of cancer. The first case involves an 88-year-old man with Waldenstrom's macroglobulinaemia who developed pruritus, upper extremity oedema, and a Staphylococcus aureus infection while on Ibrutinib. The second case involves a 75-year-old woman with chronic lymphocytic leukaemia who experienced ecchymoses, upper extremity oedema, and sensory neuropathy while on Acalabrutinib. Both patients had their treatment adjusted or discontinued due to these adverse effects. [Extracted from the article]
