This document provides important upcoming dates and opportunities for Sigma Xi members and nonmembers. Fall nominations for Sigma Xi membership are open, and assistance is available for finding a second nominator. The deadline for Grants in Aid of Research (GIAR) applications is October 1, with increased award amounts for Sigma Xi members. The IFoRE conference in Washington, DC, is taking place on October 25, and registration is closing soon.
