Abstract
- A 27-year-old woman experienced a lack of efficacy while being treated with methyldopa for pregnancy-induced hypertension. The woman had a history of liver and kidney transplants, as well as respiratory failure that required a tracheostomy. She was receiving immunosuppressive therapy during her pregnancy. Despite treatment with methyldopa, her blood pressure increased and she was hospitalized. She ultimately gave birth to a baby girl via caesarean delivery. [Extracted from the article]
