Verapamil overdose: Hypotension.

A 43-year-old woman experienced hypotension after overdosing on verapamil. She had a medical history of bipolar and personality disorder and was admitted to the hospital with an overdose of verapamil. She required mechanical support with venoarterial extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (VA-ECMO) due to profound vasoplegic shock. The woman also had severe left ventricular systolic dysfunction and received impella for left ventricular venting.
