Abstract

An 82-year-old woman developed TAFRO syndrome after receiving the tozinameran COVID-19 vaccine. She also experienced lack of efficacy when treated with furosemide and azosemide for renal and cardiac insufficiency. The woman had a history of drug allergy and reported increased neck thickness after vaccination. She was admitted to the hospital for heart failure and had abnormal blood and urine test results. Treatment with methylprednisolone, prednisolone, and ciclosporin was administered, and her condition improved. She was discharged after 108 days with continued medication.
