Abstract
- A 9-year-old girl in Japan developed drug-induced liver injury while being treated with naproxen for chronic non-bacterial osteomyelitis (CNO) and erythema nodosum (EN). She also experienced a lack of efficacy with naproxen for EN. After being admitted to the hospital, she received treatment with naproxen, but her skin lesions worsened and she developed drug-induced liver injury. Naproxen was stopped and her liver function returned to normal. She was then treated with sulfasalazine, which led to a reduction in her skin and bone lesions and remission of both CNO and EN.
