Cisplatin/etoposide/paclitaxel: Slight nausea, poor appetite and lack of efficacy.

Abstract
- A 65-year-old man with extensive-stage disease small cell lung cancer experienced slight nausea and poor appetite during treatment with etoposide and cisplatin. He also exhibited lack of efficacy during treatment with paclitaxel. The man had a medical history of type-2 diabetes, smoking, and alcohol consumption. He received immunotherapy and first-line chemotherapy, followed by thoracic intensity-modulated radiotherapy and second-line chemotherapy with minimal response. Recurrence was observed, and the patient received third and fourth-line chemotherapy with minimal response. He is currently alive and continuing on anlotinib therapy. [Extracted from the article]
