Abstract

In today's technological era, Augmented Reality (AR) has become increasingly popular and is used in a variety of applications. However, there is still uncertainty about the extent to which the use of AR interfaces can improve the cognitive aspects of its users. The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of using Augmented Reality (AR) interfaces on improving the cognitive aspects of its users. This study applies a qualitative approach in its research. The method of data collection used is through literature studies. Once the data is collected, the analysis is carried out in three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. From the results of the study, it was concluded that the impact of Augmented Reality (AR) on cognitive performance is still in its early stages of development, but the results of existing research show that AR has the potential to improve cognitive performance in various types of tasks. The eyetracking method can be a useful tool for evaluating the impact of AR on cognitive performance and understanding the way users interact with AR interfaces. The use of eyetracking makes it possible to record the user's eye movements and analyze their interaction patterns with elements in AR. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
