This research work seeks to examine the reception of Foucaultian work in two Paraguayan thinkers, Benjamin Arditi and Gilberto Giménez. For this purpose, an analysis of the socio-cultural and historical issues that motivated the approach to the French thinker, as well as the uses of certain categories for a reflective expansion in the disciplines of both authors, based on texts published in the last part of the twentieth century.
