- The article focuses on rethinking peer review in the elementary writing classroom, emphasizing the importance of modeling constructive feedback to help students become better writers and communicators. Topics include modeling the process of giving feedback; providing explicit instruction on giving and receiving feedback; creating a kid-friendly checklist for evaluating writing, and encouraging students to reflect on their own writing skills and improve their overall communication abilities.
