Abstract
- "After Intelligence: The Missing Passage" is a young adult novel by Nicole Marie that explores the themes of android acceptance and equality. Set in a future where androids are integrated into everyday life, the story follows a group of high school students as they participate in an augmented reality competition called the Enigma tournament. Alongside solving puzzles and challenges, the characters also fight for the rights of androids and uncover the secrets of a journal left by one of the founders of an android-developing conglomerate. The novel highlights the fear of the unknown and the importance of acceptance, while also providing an engaging and suspenseful storyline. Recommended for fans of Cory Doctorow's "For the Win" and Marie Lu's "Warcross." [Extracted from the article]
