Abstract
- In an observational study, two patients between the ages of 11 and 18 experienced a lack of efficacy when treated with the tozinameran vaccine for COVID-19. The first patient, an 11-year-old boy with a kidney condition, received the vaccine but did not develop protective antibodies and later contracted COVID-19 with mild symptoms. The second patient, an 18-year-old woman with a genetic disorder, also did not develop protective antibodies after receiving the vaccine and later contracted COVID-19 with mild symptoms. The lack of efficacy was attributed to the tozinameran vaccine in both cases. [Extracted from the article]
