Multiple drugs: Lack of efficacy and drug exposure during pregnancy : 2 case reports.

This article presents two case reports involving a 40-year-old woman and a neonate who experienced lack of efficacy during treatment with methylthioninium-chloride and ascorbic-acid for acquired methemoglobinemia. The woman received these medications, along with sodium-chloride and magnesium-sulfate, during the third trimester of pregnancy. The woman recovered and was discharged without any complications, but unfortunately, the neonate's condition continued to deteriorate and ultimately resulted in death.
