Abstract

A 47-year-old woman with asthma experienced a lack of efficacy during treatment with various medications, including epinephrine, magnesium sulfate, ketamine, β-adrenergic-receptor-agonists, and corticosteroids. Despite receiving these treatments, her condition did not improve, and she required intubation. Additional interventions, such as femoral-jugular venovenous extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (VV-ECMO) and radiotherapy, were attempted, but the woman ultimately succumbed to widespread cancer metastasis. The article provides a detailed account of the patient's medical history and treatment, highlighting the challenges faced in managing her condition. [Extracted from the article]
