Abstract

The Dutch Dakota Association (DDA) will be grounding its last Douglas DC-3 later this year, bringing an end to its passenger flights. The decision to cease operations is primarily due to financial reasons, including increased rent for the hangar where the DC-3 is stored. The DDA has been an established name in classic aviation for four decades, offering scenic flights over Europe. The association is currently exploring options to ensure the aircraft can continue flying in the Netherlands. [Extracted from the article]
