The success of hospitals in carrying out their functions is marked by the quality of excellent hospital services. The quality of nursing services greatly affects the quality of health services, even being one of the determining factors for the image of health service institutions (hospitals). The services provided by hospitals must be of high quality, effective and efficient, supported by the quality and quantity of their staff. Nurse communication and the appropriate workload of nurses can affect the services provided. This study aims to determine the relationship between the workload of nurses with the implementation of therapeutic communication in Class III Inpatient Sekarwangi Regional General Hospital. This study used a correlational design with a cross sectional approach, with a sample of 94 nurses. Using primary data (nurse workload questionnaire and therapeutic communication). Data collection was carried out on November 23 to November 28, 2022. The statistical test used was Chi Square. The results obtained with the Chi Square test obtained P value = 0.033 then p value <0.05 so Ho is rejected. There is a relationship between the workload of nurses and the implementation of therapeutic communication in Class III Inpatient Sekarwangi Regional General Hospital. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
