Abstract
- This article discusses the successful treatment of postoperative intrahepatic stones using direct peroral cholangioscopy and the mother-baby system cholangioscopy. The case study involves a 73-year-old woman who underwent pyloric resection and B-1 reconstruction for gastric cancer, followed by duodenal bile duct anastomosis. The patient was later referred for bile duct dilation examination, which revealed intrahepatic gallstones. The article describes the use of various endoscopic techniques, including electrohydraulic lithotripsy and the combined-POCS method, to achieve successful stone removal. The authors highlight the efficacy of these techniques in managing postoperative intrahepatic stones. [Extracted from the article]
