Abstract
- Nitrogen-containing heterocycles are among the most significant as they are found in a wide range of pharmacologically active molecules. Lewis acids are regarded as crucial activation agents for a wide range of functional groups, including amides, carbonyls, alkenes, alkynes, alcohols, and so on. The research findings over the last ten years on the synthesis of N -heterocycles from propargyl–amines, homopropargyl– amines, and their derivatives catalyzed/mediated by Lewis acid are reviewed in this study.
