Abstract
- The article focuses on the extension of the Persianate framework into the twentieth and twenty-first centuries through the lens of Iranian cultural production. Topics include the interlingual and intercultural dynamics in works by Simin Daneshvar, Bahram Beizaei, and Damahithe impact of the Persianate concept on modern Iranian literature and art, and the influence of historical and political contexts on these works.
