Abstract
- The article presents several algorithms. These include Algorithm 350 which is a simplex method procedure employing LU decomposition. This is developed by Richard H. Bartels and Gene Golub of the Computer Science Department at Stanford University. Another algorithm discussed is Algorithm 292 which concerns regular Coulomb wave functions. This was developed by Walter Gautschi from the Applied Mathematics Group of the Data Handling Division at the European Organization for Nuclear Research. The algorithm has been translated into Fortran and tested on a Control Data 6600 computer.
