Abstract
- Bioinformatics resolves biological problems by predicting the structural-functional annotation of genes and substantially contributes to further downstream applications in the field of genomics. Most of the proteins from Colletotrichum gloeosporoides are uncharacterized yet, which could be of novel biological functions and help to understand the biological function. Hence, in this study, we aimed to annotate the zinc-finger dhhc domain containing uncharacterized protein A0A8H4C4Q8_COLGL of C. gloeosporoides. The uncharacterized protein was analyzed for subcellular localization, physicochemical characteristics, secretory nature, antigenicity, allergenicity determination, conserved domain identification, secondary structure prediction, 3D modeling, docking analysis, active site prediction, and protein-protein interaction. The structural-functional annotation predicted it as an effector protein possessing a role in pathogenicity. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
