Two new eriophyid mite species associated with Pterocarya stenoptera C. DC. namely Shevtchenkella stenopteraesp. nov. and Epitrimerus jiulianshanensissp. nov. are described and illustrated. Both new species are vagrants on their host plant and induce the leaves to turn yellow.
